29m Wave Piercing Ferry

Echo Marine Group are pleased to announce successful sea trials and hand over of a new 29m Wave Piercing Ferry for Taiwan powered with:

Main engine: MTU 12V2000 M84 (1220kW @ 2450 rpm)
Gearbox: ZF 3050 NR
Waterjet: Kamewa 45A3

The owners had their previous vessel built in Australia and it has served them very well and they are equally impressed with their latest purchase.

The vessel was designed by One 2 Three Naval Architects and achieved an impressive 36.5 knots on hand over trials at around 50% load and 100% MCR.
