Echo Marine Group’s investment in beefing up their load out facilities is certainly paying off with more and more clients wanting to access the load out wharf. Recent modifications include, 2 x 25 cubs of concrete set into the ground to hold down to large winches that are used to secure anything coming along side in any weather.

The ‘proof is in the pudding’ as they say and over the last 2 days Perth has been battered by the first of the winter storms. This one was particularly intense as 2 low pressure cells merged to create one large cell. All the while the 2 x 90m long OMSA barges in at the load out wharf sat against the wharf with no hint of movement or strain.
