Echo Marine Group have aligned themselves with Naval Architects, One 2 Three Naval Architects since the inception of the company. Breaking news is that One 2 Three were fortunate enough to be involved in the Wild Oats XI sailing programme this year. Over the past 12 months One2three have also designed the new keel, bulb, winglets, consulted on the sail wardrobe development and designed the new forward light airs centreboard which received quite a bit of air-time in the local press. Steve Quigley, One 2 Three’s principle, quoted: ‘Yes I was fortunate enough to be involved in the Wild Oats XI sailing programme this year. It was a privilege to be involved in such a professional team and the racing this year, particularly the Hobart race record, line honours and IRC win was also a lot of fun. We’ve already started working with the owners on the improvements for next season……so we are back at work……no rest for the wicked!
